Renault has agreed a joint venture in Iran to build 150,000 Symbol and Duster models in the country where it already assembles 200,000 models including Sandero and pickups.

The French car maker has been in Iran for 12 years and sees the market growing to 2M cars annually by 2020.

Lorries with poor visibility and a possible danger to cyclists will be banned in London from 2024.

A safety grading system will mean only the safest CVs will be allowed into the capital under plans announced by the Mayor of London's office.
